NaNoWriMo - 2008 - The End

I took a gander at the NaNoWriMo site today. The preliminary stats are in. Almost 20% of people who entered this year finished. That's pretty good going from the 119,301 authors who signed up. Last year it was around 100,000.

Of everyone registered, 21,683 won. That's 18.2% if you need precise figures.

If I was standing in a football field with them all I might not feel special, but sitting here with bleeding fingers, I do.
